Stupid Q about Filing Records

What's the best way to file 'em?I don't have an expedit right now, and am puttin 'em on my shelf with the cover opening and sleeve opening up. it's easy access but i just noticed that flipping through records that are right side up look MUCH better....cept when I do that the sleeves slightly stick out when i put 'em back and it looks kinda weak.
