  • agreed!

  • I have the one for the 'Fifties'. 90% of the listings include home addresses!

On my last trip to NYC I was was going to visit the former residences of Hawkins, Monk, Silver, Pettiford, Rollins, etc., but alas I ran out of time. I didn't even get to visit 'Good Records'!

Does the 'Sixties' book have the addresses of people in it?

I believe it does. Even the current reprints. I wonder if anyone's still at their old addresses (in rent controlled NYC I wouldn't be surprised)?

Ive got that Sixties one and another w/ a black cover--I don't have it with me at the moment, can't remember the year. Maybe it is a 70s????

But yes, I really like those books. Wish I could say more, but its been forever since Ive looked through the copies Ive got.
