upon receiving badly misgraded LPs from overseas

do you ever think that maybe they purposely overgrade figuring that you'll just live with it instead of spending more $$$ to send it back to them? I know this is but I can't help wondering sometimes.

    How will the seller know the buyer will be from overseas?

    The theory holds true for local mail too, as 7-8.00 shipping fees (transaction costs) are a deterrent to exchange (for low priced LP's).

    Lesson to be learned? Buy heat!
