Listening to Bizarre Ride with the little one whilst showering. The musical breadth just flattens me everytime. What ever happened to the dudes who produced it, J-Swift, LA JAY and Slim Kid 3? And who actually made the beats? Just wondering. Back to the backgammon tables for me.

    This has been discussed before but. I think most of the album was produced by J Swift, but i'm not positive.

    "The documentary film ???1 More Hit??? follows the life of hip hop producer J Swift, formerly of the Pharcyde from homelessness and crack addiction to his mission to win back his life and music career."

    LA Jay produced Otha Fish and a couple of other joints for them. I played in a band with him for about a year in LA, and dude is nice on the Rhodes, and just plain nice overall. Very deep and open.

    check his resume: I didn't even know he produced all this stuff!

    I beleive he's still active in music, but just not as high-profile as he used to be.
