Another Turntable Question...

Okay with all the turntables out there, which give the best sound quality without losing much DJ maneuverability? And which cartridge would sound best,(without wearing out records as quick) in that set up???? In the past Techniqes and Shure cartridges where best.?... Since technology changes so fast has that changed at all since the lastime????
