getting cat piss off a record

OK, I've cleaned a lot of stuff off records in my day, up to and including bird shit (surprisingly easy to remove, actually). But through everything I've seen, the single most frustrating thing to find is dried up crystalized cat piss. How do I break this down and get it off the record?

    Get some high powered plumbing cleaner, that shit eats everything except plastic. Just don't get it on your hands or the label

    wow...a serious problem..hopefully the record is great and totally worth the awful experience. i honestly think that it would be next to impossible due to the amonia in the pee...make sure whatever you use is safe on plastic. I've dealt with dead roaches smushed in, but this is bad....hope it works my man..
