Where's the pussyhurt graemlin?
BLOWIN' UP THE (LEGAL) SPOT SON
I think a simple Cease and Decist and you will be OK. I can't imagine they would really sue you. This seems like small potatoes.
edit reason: legal
yo, we made it bigtime!!
Are you saying this Bay dude was sued for the 'FOR DUMMIES' thing too?
Ayres fears no lawsuit
This thread is a parody, not a reproduction.
Have you contacted a lawyer? You might need to, looks serious.
haha,
I remeber some break records from a few years back that went away because of use of the "For Dummies" theme.... I don't know who put em out
Oh yeah, and don't fuck around with John Klemmer either. Dude is easily the gulliest mutherfuckin' legal eagle i'll-sue-you-over-some-soundclip-on-your-ebay-auction gangster ever.
See, now you're glad you had nothing to do with this CD.
youknowIluhyamuhfucka!
I thought DJ Fingaz put out a "DJing for dummies" break record and the artwork looked like one of the "For dummies" book. I heard he got hit with a cease order as well.
oh yeah... GOOD LUCK WITH THAT SHIT, DJ AYERS!!!!!
Perhaps you can rename the CD: Houston For People Not Already Familiar With Music From Southwestern Texas??.
aka: Houston for Dunnies.
ASER: you a genius, you did it again!!!
I would imagine that if there is a lawsuit, it would also procede at a glacial pace.
by the time it hits court, they'll be sending Cease & Desists to 'Phoenix for Dummies' or whatever city is next to blow media-wise...

I expect the "for dummies" gets used a lot, and so this lawyer probably sends these letters out a lot.
Anyway, coming from someone who's been in more than a few court cases in the last year, good luck and keep patience.
