haha, too funnny. the old guy says some weird stuff. he calls that machine "survival radar". you know. most of my English teachers in high school spoke english like that. how was i supposed to learn anything?
Bro, im studying international business here in Holland, English is a compulsory subject, I am a native speaker, but i still have to take it. The (Dutch) teachers level of my native tounge is just fucking disgraceful, i here better grammar on the street every day, yet the bitch failed me last class because i called her out when she used the expression "foot between the door", im like, "its foot IN the door" she got all pissy and refused to back down saying 'clearly the foot is BETWEEN the door" as she acted out the scenario, i busted my ass laughing which im sure conpounded her hatred for me.
Note: this is not a slate on Dutch folk's english, on a whole it is excellent (hell my Dutch wife is always correcting my written grammer...) anyways im in their country, if their english was crap, thats my incentive to learn the native (which im doing)im just sayin' this bitch is doin my head in.
whats up with language teachers with a bad grasp of their subject? sheesh.
