I like "MFH 3" & "conquistador" but I strongly doubt those are his best album ...which other you would suggest ?

MFs records are rarely more than fine, but are mostly mediocre to terrible.

On the striaght ahead jazz tip, there are some decent titles on Emarcy and Roulette.

The Mainstream stuff catches him in transition to the funkier pop/comercial sound of the Columbia stuff. I like one of those, but I forgot the title.

Then the Columbia stuff stopped being good real fucking quick...at like MF 3. (I like 2 and 3. See also Motown67's review at soulstrut.com)

the First MF Horn is DOPE! But, that's about all I care to hear from dude.

  • I'd go with MF Horn 1 too, specially L-Dopa. Super nice.

  • thanks for your comments..

.mmhh I recently picked "Chamaleon" released in 74, but I found terrible.......strange cause I liked the CTIesque sound of Conquistador released just the year before......
