My boy and I are putting out a cd. He did all of the beats and I wanted to get some feedback from you kind soulstrutters....I decided to post a track that the various cats involved with the project have put on myspace so no one flips out about me putting this shit up....any kind of positive or negative criticism is appreciated...thanks.. yousendit link

    I like the beat (some producers would criticize it super tech style) Lyricks are cool. Keep it up man.
    However I could say...although i respect your work and the track. I think success in the industry comes with originality. Not to say this stuff is not good but a lot of local crews everywhere have that sound (straight boombap) However if you build a solid album and work hard success will come.
    either way keep up the music

    good lookin. I really appreciate that...I guess we are just going for the boom bap type ish. I want to post up another track but don't want to step on any toes..i'll post some snippets later. but thanks for taking time out to listen...
