after listening to all the Byrds' records today, I 've figured that Ballard of an Easy Rider and (untitled) are by far the best...because of Clarence White. what happened to him?

    Died in 1973, hit by drunk driver.

    The kentucky Colonels are a good group to look for.

    While I enjoy the Byrds early pop hits (Mr Spaceman, Eight Miles High) the real music is Clarence White. To me he added more to the Byrds than Gram Parsons did.
