Funky sound library grooves from the super-obscure Brilliant Music archive -- an ultra cool German label from the 70s that's only just now being rediscovered! The tunes on this set have a bouncy brilliance that reminds us a lot of the Brit Easy scene at its best -- particularly work of the Sound Gallery generation -- with lots of funky rhythms at the bottom, but also some very tightly crafted orchestrations over the top -- done in a way that make the tracks sparkle like some of the best soundtrack funk from the same period! Titles include "Hard Work", "Love Cage", "Open State", "Straight", "Fata Morgana", "Grand Central", and "Moonrise" by Pete Jacques; "Russel Square", "Just For Fun", "Porterhouse", "Orbirter", and "Spicy" by Hans Kiessling; "Comin Up" and "Moving Out" by Helmuth Brandenburg; and "Neptune's Walk" and "Onyx" by The Rainbow Orchestra. 22 tracks in all!
