What kind of mic should I buy?

Question for the DJs who like to talk to their audience-What kind of mics do you use/recommend? I am looking for something on the fairly cheap side, but obviously sound quality and especially reliability are also concerns.Thanks in advance.

for dj talk over at shows? sure sm58 or sm 57.. soem peeps voices sound better thru the 57.. but hte 58 is the defacto indestructable live club microphone

well there used to be a really dope radio shack mic.. it was radio shack "by sure" and was basically a 58 in shack clothing... mine she is sadly busted.. but that thing sounded AWESOME on snares... better than my 57 ...
