    i for one dig tivo. more than diggit. i think tivo's the best/most convenient invention since the innernet. i am no longer tv's bitch. tv is now my bitch.
    mother... brother... and secret lover...

    i don't really get the whole rave about netflix. it seems like you would order a movie, get it 3 days later and maybe not really be in the mood to see it then.

    Tivo = digital TV crack. Seriously. I don't know how much TV you watch now but it can increase your viewing 2x, 3x, 4x.

    It's the greatest/most terrible thing ever.

    Netflix? A great idea but very few people actually watch the DVDs they get sent once the pressure to return them in a timely way is off. I know many folks - myself included - who've had the same three fucking DVDs sitting on their counter for two months.

    i think i watched less amounts of tv and better quality tv with tivo. like maybe one or two shows if i was home at night. with no commercials, that saves 15 mins every hour too.
