163 North to 8 West Connector Traffic Collision - No Details 12:35 PM
Hi guys. I just saw this happen. It was mad chilly. Hope the driver is okay.
The mustang was going northbound on the 163 freeway (right before the 8 connector and after the University exit for locals), and I was going south. When I saw the accident, it looked like slow motion straight outta an action film. The mustang was in the left lane and right next to the concerete divider. It swerved very slightly but at 65-70mph, it slammed the concrete (plastic and metal spewing off everywhere) and spun back towards the freeway. Luckily the cars in the other lanes saw it coming and moved out of the way. It literally spun off and somehow the driver got control and landed it back on the far right side of the freeway. I thought the car was going to jump the divider but the momentum swung it the other way. I tried calling 911 but got a busy signal.
Be safe out there, lotta rain down here. These horseless carriages be deadly.
