...question, but is there a studio version of "sex machine" by james brown? or something like "sex machine 75"? i heard rumors like that.

    I believe the version on the lp is studio with fake audience noise. the star time box has it without the live sounds.

    Not a dumb question at all...I looked a while before finding the undubbed "Sex Machine" and "Give It Up or Turnit Loose" along with some other killer cuts on the incredible Funk Power 1970 disc. Cheaper than the box, to boot. Peace

    yeah, got that 45. but in fact i'm talking about an alternate take, done after the live version... like "papa's got a brand brand brand brand brand brand brand new new new new new new new new new new bag"

    ahhh... I think there is a later version. Like you said, might be called "Sex Machine 75" or something...
