After slaving for 2 years, my dear friend DJ Kitty is finally set to open her spot, Bar Kitty's[/b]. Her work really shows-- the bar is beautiful and it will be THE place to go on the eastern side of the bridge.Friday night, I kick off my new weekly party, HUBBA ROCK[/b] -- 4 hours of black music and white heat, loaded with hyphy hits, booty tunes and pretty much anything else likely to kindle a disco inferno. THEN, this Saturday night, I will return to ring in the new year with more of the same. Only, you know, with more oomph, cuz it's New Year's.Here is the best part -- NO COVER[/b]. I repeat -- NO COVER[/b]. Mo money for drinks, yao ming?Bar Kitty's is located at 6702 Hollis St. in Emeryville, super-close to the I-80 Ashby Exit-- just take a right at the first light and you're there.
