Although the man has had his share of ups and downs the "Godfather"deserves a much needed appreciation post / toast / roast. SAY IT LOUDI 'M BLACK AND I' M PROUD!!!!!!!! Any one wanna post that CNN interview last year ???

    While driving today I heard 3 James Brown songs in a row on public radio. At first I was happy, like the last time they played "Root Down", but then it hit me and I thought "Oh shit, James Brown is dead!"

    Glad to know it's just his birthday.
