I worked 'til about 5, poked around a couple record stores after work, ate some ready made Indian food for dinner, listened to Rance Allen, and played NBA Live '95 on the Sega Genesis Emulator I downloaded (played as the Knicks, of course). I bought an Eddy Giles 45 on eBay, talked on the phone to my family back in NY, and found out my littlest sister got engaged today . Talked to my wife on the phone who is in L.A. visiting her parents. All these elements added up to an oddly melancholy yet peaceful evening.

My moms wanted to go to the Casino on her dime but the shits was closed, so we all (pops, moms, and I) played Myst IV Revelations.

Now I'm just listening to records I brought over on my portable before passing out in the guest room ;

The wife and I listened to some music. I gave her the present early (hooded brown shearling 3/4 length coat; no offense to my PETA cats out there but Milwaukee is COOOOOOOOOOLD) since she was a little down. Later, we played some "scrabble" so she's sound asleep after that (remember what Ice Cube said).

dinner with mom and step pops at a family friends in the hollywood hills. these particular friends have the choolest houst evar and always make a nice meal. tonight was a delicious salad, potatos, carrots, and then this crackling pork dish that blew my mind.
afterwards swooped my man mansa, got rejected from mood real quick on the way from his spot, and then met other friends had drinks at the polo lounge at the beverly hills hotel. some faux bougey shite if u can diggit.
