tracking a parcel

I sent out a package to another strutter through priority mail about 2 weeks ago. He just let me know he hasn't received it yet and now I want to try to track it. How do I go about doing this?

    You definitely need a tracking number

    If you've got that just go to the USPS site...

    shit, I don't think I have one. I paid by card though so there has to be some sort of dcumentation (right?)

    A guy was sending me a large check for some car parts I sold him. He sent it priority and it took a week and a half to get to me. I had tracking which showed I had received it but I never got it until the day after he overnighted me a new check. Sometimes the post office just loves to throw stuff on their shelf and forget about it.
