In May of 2005, I was living in bumblesfuckville Rochelle, IL. My friend Tony came by a few times, and we made these two instrumental songs. One is an ode to the best sandwich shop in Rochelle, and one is about the epic journey from Chicago to Rochelle. We mixed it down in the South Bronx, with the incredible Fred One. This is the first release on Pentoca records, and we hope to provide you with more sounds like this for years to come. We are Marrow of the Mind, and we hope you enjoy this 45. This 45 can be purchased though Paypal for $5 plus shipping. Shipping in the US is $1.50. Overseas shipping will be $4.50. Anyone who ordered this in the past 2 days, please be patient, it will be shipped Monday. Thanks

Also, you can purchase it at Turntablelab now... who had to say:

"New 45 manifestation from Meatyogre and Tony Janda. Exceptional quality as usual, A-side offers a take on New Orleans twang, while the flip sounds like the love child of Keb Darge and Just Blaze. Definitely up there with any Memphix release, Meatyogre for secretary general of food and agriculture."

  • Dudes, I played "Naples Deli" last night at Danny's on an old needle
and that schitt was like taking everybody in the room and dipping
their balz into a bowl of warm honey -- and then doing the Spock Lock
on the tender part of their shoulder.
I really like how things happen in this track, there are movements,
and it makes the lazy blazer DJ's job a lot nicer.
Also would be good if you have a portable in your car, to play
    it on that. Nice work.

thanks for rockin it TERRI. I'd love to make it out to one of your nights, but I'm on padlock restriction with pregnant wife who can't be smellin smoke, nor drink booze. Spock Lock?
