So, I'm playing at some corporate christmasparty tomorrow. I was told to play something akin to "funky disco stuff... like early Michael Jackson" which led me to think...What would you compare to early Michael Jackson? What do you consider similar in tempo, vibe, etc.?This might seem "basic", but I know my (at least mainstream) music, I swear! I can come up with a lot of things in the same genre, etc. but nothing quite like it, ya know? Nothing is too obvious here and I'm not out to educate the drunk ceo's and secretaries...Anyways, educate me, pleeeeeez?

  • dont forget theese ones:

    Joneses - Summer Groove

love your taste all the way, but this song does not fit in any way possible for a WINTER themed xmas party
    its about 20 degrees out

haha! I was thinking the same thing, but people don't really seem to care.

I played a danish song last weekend at a christmas party.
The intro starts with, roughly translated, "now it's summer and we're chillin in the park"...

I felt kinda silly; everybody else was too drunk to mind.
