RECENT TROUBLESHOOTING TRIMUPHS (PRODUC RELATED)

Just got over this weird LATENCY issue with my m-audio ozone this weekend. Dunno how it started a month ago, but basically recording with the device as my primary soundcard was fine until I hit the 3 minute mark and it was all crackly and sped up like chipmunk soul.

This weekend, after a quick search online, I realized the latency was set on "very low" and I flipped it to "very high" for recording. I guess even a new PC laptop can only handle so much at once. Recording then commenced without a hitch, beautiful!

post up your recently troubleshooted problems, tech or music, etc

I feel cleansed of the evil recording glitch bugger spirits now

RADD, THIS IS A MOVE I LOOK FORWARD TO IN THE NEAR FUTURE
as much of a PC champion I am, I know I needs a Mac at home to balance it all out
I think a dual G4 could hold me down, nicely

This next situation involved playing & recording. I OVERCAME my son by wall mounting my turntable, high enough to have the needle at my eyes level. You can now jump all you want, JLR junior! No more skipping records!

    GET ON MY LEVEL, SON!

yes dual g4 is still a good look.. but my single g5 still smokes that.

in ableton it shows you your cpu usage perentage.. ive been workign on soem jams with my buddy in quebec and he had one or two tat were registering at around 70% on his dual g4 (this is around the mark you start getting audio hicups and glitches). Same files on the g5 barely register at 20%.

At 18 months, he's got incredible lyrics: nah, nah, nah.

Free jazz makes him all nervous and he starts to throw toys all over the place. I discovered this yesterday, after his mother was hit by a flying little truck

i don't think the x86 macs will be out for t least 6 months or something...

i figured i'd have to get a g4 but this g5 was seriously the right price.. thank goodness for one day ebay auctions from quebec.
