Man crushed in garbage compactor[/b] NTRMonday, November 14, 2005MONTREAL -- A man suffered a fractured pelvis and broken legs after he was dumped into a garbage truck's trash compactor, police said Monday.The man was apparently inside a trash container when it was picked up and dumped into a garbage truck.The truck driver heard screams as the garbage was being compressed and he stopped the compactor, said Montreal police spokesman Salvatore Serrao.Firefighters and ambulance crews were called in and they had to root through the trash to get to the man.Detectives will question the man to find out how he ended up in the trash container in the first place, Serrao said.

    i am in a.a. and everybody has a story of a friend of theres living in a garbage dumpster and geeting crushed to death when the truck comes. it's a sad but pretty common
