Found this one yesterday.....certainly SOMEONE at Capitol could have figured out that "The Swingin' Peters" was not a good name.

Then again, we're talking early 60's Capitol, The Beatles and the Beach Boys were rebels compared to the rest of their catalog. They could've released an album called Smell The Pussywillow[/b] and not figure it out.

How's the album, BTW? The photo is blurry, but does it say "Capitol Of The World" above the Capitol logo, and "Recorded in" (can't read that)? If so, what country are they from?

    Is it any good?

  • It's funny though, they were at that party in Sheridan, Wyoming for the premier of Under The Cherry Moon[/b], yet outside of "100 MPH" and "Players Ball", most people would only know them for the background vocals on Prince's "Kiss". That is, if anyone knew they were on the record.

    Looking at that cover again:

It looks like they were trying to become their own Wendy & Lisa's. Dr. Dre probably had one of those outfits way back when.

Imagine though, what their kids must be thinking? Holy shit dad, you mean the curtain in the garage was what you wore on stage?
