Dude, it's San Francisco or SFO. Never call it as San Fran.

Culinary-wise check Cha Cha Cha next to Haight street Amoeba. If you want to see real San Francisco, go to Zeitgeist or some other (wierd) bar on Mission (between 13th and 24th street).
