Anybody done a live set? Maybe mixing a drum machine with your turntables or getting ill with a sampler. Maybe you got a laptop or a keyboard in the mix? I've done it and it was short of disastrous. I had wires everywhere. My levels were all haphazard. No computer and not much of a plan. Just cassetes, a drum machine and 1200 technics. It was gangster, an the Borders Books cafe. A little girl was dancing her ass off. I got paid and that was my goal so, well done. That was a while ago. I'd do it again in a club but with a different angle, but damn, it's not as easy as it sounds. Anybody else?

    i used to play live with a yamaha qy10, & a roland 505 triggering samples on my akai20.

    ran it into a little board and a gemini echo unit... whole settup fit in a backpack.
