World Teacher Day

For those of you that don't know, it's World Teachers day today. So, give a thought to all us mugs slaving away in the classroom because Karma paid us back & we have to spend eternity at school....just kidding, it ain't that bad. My school is throwing us all a 'special' morning tea to celebrate what 'special' people we are. Rad.

    Cosign. My wife's a teacher (as was my Dad). I know there are educators here on the Strut too (Motown67). Cheers.

    I just poked around (surprised I hadn't heard about it, my girl's a teacher and she called me earlier and didn't mention it...) and it looks like World Teachers' Day is October 5th[/b]

    Teachers are so underappreciated that it's truly a shame. Thank one when you see one (esp. the good teachers).

    Hmmm, I'm going on what I was told on the email this morning, info from Australian Independent Schools, maybe I get 2 morning teas.....that would be sweet.
