oof. it's nice to be fighting the digital divide and all, but when the brightest light source in a home is the fancy computer mit just gave them, there are probably a whole bunch of basic needs not being met that need to.
even when bill gates went to a underdeveloped countries to give people old computers he came back on some "these people need food and clothes before thez need computers" ish.
