  • 2016 - The great Boomer Die Off ?

The one I will feel the most from those boomers will be Neil Young I think...

So many of them are already dead with a pulse, Neil's still kickin'.

I made this mix from records pulled from a crate of reggae 12"s I bought that originated in Harry's collection. Most were signed 'Harry" but many amongst them were signed 'Spliffy Dread'. Turns out Spliffy was a deceased former DJ friend of Harry's. Both were Rasta's with dynamite riddims.

    Horace Andy: Musical Episode
    Chantelles: Natty Supper
    IZS: Subway Dub
    Prince Allan: Jah Jah Love
    Abeng: Song of a Slave
    Lacksley Castell: Government Man
    Fatman Ridim: Girls Talk
Johnny Osbourne: Rock and Come On
Sugar Minott: Wicked Ah Go Feel It
Carlton Livingston: 100 Weight of Collie Weed
    Waiting In the Park: Dub
    Winston Jones: Stop That Train
    Wayne Jarrett: Youth Man Dub
    Frank Jones: Mister Officer
    J Ayes: Yaho
    Burning Spear: Institution

  • Fines of October

Pretty redunculous reggae haul. All originally from an ol Rasta DJ. Over 2 crates og roots from the seventies. Some early and later dancehall.. the  later dancehall has already been moved. I'm slowly sorting through the rest right now, but it's a slow process And a crate of 12's, and some seriously good 45's. All Og press. Some jackets are rough but the wax waswell taken care of. Up to my waste in Trenchtown!

  • Spring Finds

Records from the past couple of months, most all field. Had no idea just how amazing the N Davis was... top jazz. Same with the Tough Tenors LP, the Martino Lp, total unknowns to me until now.
