I'll be in la casa, too.

I've already listened to the album straight through four or five times. Really dope comeback effort for Verocai. The 'Bis' 7-inch on Far Out is the shiznit, along with the Eddy meets Yannah Remix on the flip. Might be tough to find now, though.

Really good interview. I've heard his live shows are really bizarro and freaky, but he just sounds like a humble, cool cat here with GP. Kind of funny imagining him rockin' roller skates on stage, tho. I also found this show on mp3 for download here…

The pescado with carmelized onions and peppers at el bogadon was the bump. Glad you guys chose that spot. Good seeing y'all.

I was looking for a file and I came across this song I did with my man Able 12 YEARS AGO[/b] ( related). Anyway, I thought I'd post it up cause I think it actually still sounds good. This is some old shitty quality, 4track cassette, obvious loop me…

but, surely this "every genre"approach is the whole point of hiphop - i.e to take bits of music from anywhere - and the sum of the parts is hopefully another genre itself (i.e Hip Hop) - whether it's hungarian prog rock breaks or Turkish psyche thr…

I thought the best part of "The Hard Sell" was their board show, with a director cutting between the different cameras (I counted 10), including 2 wristcams, 2 fisheye angles, and their 7" themed animations/videos/graphics. But otherwise, I wasn't…

That's unfortunate. My fave part of the zine was their DJ top ten lists section. Picked up on a lot of dope nujazz/house/brokenbeat titles from renown DJs who contributed lists each issue, like Gilles, Kyoto Jazz Massive, Rich Medina, Spinna, etc. T…

So if a record is from Taiwan and sung in Mandarin would someone on the Chinese mainland (Shanghai for example) be able to perfectly understand the record from Taiwan? Is the dialect (mandarin) exactly the same whether from Taiwan or China (allowing…

I got a few other bits too but this will do for starters: http://www.zshare.net/audio/19918781b79f3b/ Can anyone tell me what Chinese dialect these tracks are in? Hey thanks a lot for upping these. All those clips were in Mandarin. Maybe it doesn…

Wow, the Blazers are gonna be real dope in years to come. No team would have passed on Oden. I like Durant going to the Sonics, too. Both teams are going to be fun to watch.

Sprint is the best way to go if you want Internet/Data Plan. Their SERO plan plan comes with UNLIMITED DATA for just 30 bones (500 mins). Or 50$ for 1250 mins. On top of that, you can claim $10 credit every month for dropped calls. Definitely best b…

The post-posterizing dunk reaction by Baron and Stephen was straight classic. The technical was so worth it.

Grabbed a box of pictures from high school from my folks place and found one of these. I can't believe that was close to 10 years ago. That just took me back for a minute. I wish I still had my copies of these mixtape catalogs. I ordered one C…

Giants hitting/lineup lookin' pretty dismal. We'll be lucky if we finish over .500 Random sidenote (and upside on going to Giants games): AT&T Park is the first team to have a full HD Jumbotron and Control Room.

snap, looks like it's sold out already

The 10' O Clock bomb was Sway's thing on KMEL. it was just him and it wasn't the same as the Wake Up Show, but it was still pretty dope. You sure Joe Quixx wasn't regularly on there with him? I meant King Tech wasn't hosting with him. I can't …

I'll put all the On The Go's up again one day. On The Go had a dope video magazine, too. Used to watch the one with Quest Love droppin topics and Black Thought freestylin'. And I think the Artifacts were on it, too. Man, that takes me back for …

Could have picked all those joints up at Tower Records (RIP) before, cept maybe Vinyl Exchange. I used to love looking at Stress Magazine for their DJ playlist/charts. Mad NYC exclusives and ish.

Anybody catch the television narrator say "The Departed is based on the JAPANESE film Infernal Affairs", after it won for best adapted screenplay?

Everything he said was on point. This is a MUST READ!
