Stupid question about audacity and sorry to hijack, but is audacity also good as a basic editing program? I don't want to use cubase or protools because they have 4 million options. Can you cut and edit WAV files in audacity easily? I want to use it to record and edit a mix.

In protools in the menu above your region bin choosing "export regions as files" should do the trick.

    Logic.
