I dont know which source on the net i saw today that said like alaska has until 1AM ET till its polls close? what does that mean, by 2 AM we'l know who won? i intend to be be partying just as hard as you guys, so insight into timing is appreciated.

font class="post"1b,121b,121Usually with exit polls and East Coast results coming in when the polls close at 8pm EST, we have a good idea of who is winning by the time the West Coast polls close because we can see where the swing states are leaning UNLESS it is super close like it was in 2000 (and 2004?) and we had to wait until the next day.
