25 cents each at garage sale:b,121b,121IMG src=http://www.o-dub.com/images/rhythmandrhyme.jpg>b,121(and minted up my swing to fitness...melody house break MaDnEsS dude)b,121b,121also some OK kimbo records. dude with the garage sale was an elementary school P.E. teacher for 35 years and had tons of kids records. i was hoping so bad for a random stark reality to pop up. was happy to finally get rhythm and rhyme though, even if its scratched to shit.b,121b,121also got some mid-60s rolling stones/beatles/cyrkle/beach boys picture sleeve 45s. dont know shit about picture sleeves or anything but i always hear record dealers talking about them. is there a real market for these things?b,121b,121im so out of the record world at this point.b,121b,121also picked up his old califone record player. couldnt believe he only wanted a dollar for it. i see people charging insanely stupid amounts of money for old califones, and frankly, i dont know why. they are OK somewhat-portable record players.b,121b,121its just like this one. i always find them, but for, like i said, WAYYYYYYYYYYYY too much money. i could handle a dollar.b,121b,121IMG src=http://www.wesellnow.net/ipics/10676DD1.JPG>

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^b,121i think because they were built for school use they were kinda heavy duty and tough to maim?

i mean, i understand that much of it, but its not like they are especially nice, or uncommon, or anything else that seems like it would give it some value. although i remember going to a school supply warehouse in the late 90's and brand new califone record players were still like $150...

b,121b,121Not so . Jon Manship misprinted the price originally (like 1500 pounds or something) and set people in a short frenzy (http://www.popsike.com/php/detaildatar.php?itemnr=180011601633). I think his price was supposed to be 150 pounds. I tried to get rid of a M unplayed copy last month -- no one wanted it -- even @ $75 usd.

b,121Not much, I think I found it for a few bucks a while back & have seen it reasonably often since then. Break the seal & give it a listen, it's a pretty solid blues LP.

b,121b,121There are like 40 pressings of this LP, so unless you have ab,121very first press, probably not much resale value. It is, however,b,121a really good album, so you should just open it and play.

There were more copies, so I can go back and cop again. Any help on discerning how early this pressing is? It seems OG. Catalog # LP3010 (mono), with red checker logo on upper left corner. Only date is 1967. Unfortunately I don't have a player right now (eeks) so it'll have to wait till I bring a stack over to my friend's house.b,121b,121Went out again today. Mostly dollar thrift joints, and a couple from the proper record stores:b,121b,121Horace Andy--Sings for you and I (Clock Tower). Bought this one based on recommends from the fave reggae singers thread.b,121b,121Stigg of the Dump--Still Alive at the Veglia Lounge (Endemik).
