    what's your take on said Liars album. I've heard good things via some smarmy on-line rock critics, but i'd be interested in hearing what real people think about this.

    i tend to listen to my own works until i get tired of them... bumped this today several times.

    the liars record is pretty good. It's definitely straightforward for them, especially compared to their last two records, which were pretty noise-heavy-- not that I have a problem with noise rock, it's just that they weren't very good at it.

    today, it's been a couple new additions which i found promo/cheap copies of recently.

    i saw him at amoeba by accident on sunday. i knew he had a show on monday at the music hall but i didn't even think about instore appearances. anyway, they played the album in there and it sounded so good, i had to buy it!
