...from the same dude....dude I get 45s from from time to time also slangs the chronic now...got a grip of 45s (including my long time white whale Ted Taylor "(Love is like A)Ramblin' Rose"...a killer RnB 45: The Sounds "Cold Chills"...JJ Barnes raer, Little Esther, Miss Lavel and more) and a quarter of the good shit for $145, delivered. Ya cant beat that!

    Gawd I wish they delivered booze in Vancouver, you fuckers don't even know how lucky you are to have that isht. I did get Microwave delivered to my door the other day though!

    there is a booze delivery sevice in vancouver i think its called "midnight express". look for the stickers on elevator walls, etc. i think they were charging about 50 for a two-four.

    also, they don;t deliver but they do sell after hours: the chinese joint on the corner of davie and granville.

    I must be dissconected then, I thought that was quite common south of the border. That " Midnight Express" shit is crazy expensive, plus I need my beer before 12!

    When I was underage a mate and I called a taxi service and asked the driver to just go to the bottle shop and buy a case fo beer and bring it to our address. Too late to pull the ID shit once he's standing at our door. It was quite effective and only added $10 onto our cost.

    Don't be so sure. I mean, it may very well be illegal in
    your state, but I was totally surprised when I was at a
    friend's house and he was all "we'll just have it delivered"
    and they brought us 2 cases of beer and a bottle of Jamesons ...
    after that, I did notice that alot of bigger liquor stores
    had "we deliver" signs in them ... and Massachusetts is usually
    known for being mad strict about booze - until a couple of
    years ago, no liquor sales on Sunday, still no booze sold in
    supermarkets, bars close at 2, etc, etc ...

    You just described every law we still have here. I don't think they deliver in NC.

    What about no alcohol sales before noon on Sunday, is that universal?

    [Not that it really matters, I ain't tryin to tie one on before that or anything...]

    we have abc stores in VA, they will not deliver

    but, you can buy beer & wine at every grocery store & quickie mart

    living in the dc area was weird, DC, MD & VA all have very different
    ideas about what can be sold where & when (& how it is taxed)
    MD liquor agents use to stake out dc stores to trail MD customers
    home & ticket them with buying out of state (?!?)
    & montgomery county in MD has super extra fucked up laws & have their own
    county only ABC stores

    maybe only SC & the mini rulez = a more messed up state liquor control
