    What's the best train to take to get out to Southpaw from Manhattan? I was there once for a Sharon Jones show and remember it being kind of a haul

    Best bet is the 2/3 to Bergen, walk down to 5th Ave, hang a left.

    Or N,R,2,3,4,5 etc to Atlantic Avenue, then you can switch to walk a bit or switch to the local (R to Union St is close).
