Anyone know the deal with this shop? Seems like he's always closed. I went in once and it was all crap. I didn't really talk to the owner but can't imagine he does any sales. What's his deal? Backroom dealio? Rich? Crazy? What am I not seeing here?

This shop is the oldest record shop in the US. It rules. Wed-Sat.

    no doubt.

Wade is one of the best and most genuine dudes to ever do the record biz. I've gotten some of my favorite tunes from him, but more importantly have developed an important and rewarding friendship while culling the archives. His overall knowledge of music, history(particularly the Bay and Omaha areas), and life is pretty unfadeable. On top of all that dude is a good samaritan and looks out for his neighbors in a manner that is sadly dying in our age.

If you want get get good records with these folks, you have to do it the old fashioned way, build a rapport, drop a little dough, display patience, be friendly, etc.
