I've never been to New York myself, but just curious.

Was listening to a Fela record, and reading the back cover...GoogleMap the place and boom, still there to this day!

    used to hit it up back in the late 90s. came up on a few nice records, but at that point it had already been well-plundered.

    pretty sure they still press certain LPs (including Voodoonoun) so if you're hankering for a reissue that looks OG they can certainly sort you.

    In the 80s they had a branch in DC I hit once.

    In the early 90s I tried to order records from them. But all the titles I mentioned were out of print and they wouldn't tell me what was in print. They had no wholesale (or retail) catalog, even though they had a label or 'distribution' company.
