	Bin Laden was an active player during the Soviet/Afghan war. Long before he was the enemy, we supplied him and the Afghan resistance with weapons. If we made him up, we made him up in 1979 and cast him as a bit player who was allied with us at the time. I guess that's possible, but it's a stretch of staggering proportions.</div></blockquote>
