	Absolutely. I am tempted to argue though that the plea bargaining system is, itself, a necessity in a legal system that couldn't possibly bring every case to trial under current staffing and infrastructure.</div></blockquote>

	Sure, of course.  Which is another thing that makes the War On Drugs and jailing prostitutes that much more ridiculous.
