<blockquote>Sween,<br />     My Dad has raised pigeons since he was a kid in Brooklyn.....his coop is the Taj Majal of pigeon coops(multi-level w/heat and A/C) and is over near Wantagh Ave. & Jerusalem Ave.......MacArthur H.S. had a problem with "rat" pigeons and brought in a few hawks to take care of the problem.....only problem is they figured out real quick that the old man's corn fed pigeons were a lot tastier than those skeezy rats....so now almost every time my Dad flies his flock one of his prized pigeons is picked out of mid-flight by a hawk .....getting to be an expensive hobby. </blockquote><br />I remember you telling me about your dads pigeons, I asked if he released them down at West End 2 at all because I see people doing that all the time down there, either releasing them or retrieving them after a race.  My mom lives over that way now, I ride my bike past Wantagh on Jerusalem all the time.  If one of your dad's pigeons shits on me while I'm riding I'm buying my own hawks to escort me through that area.<br /><br /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eagle.gif" alt="" />
