Whether Rock is making the point to your dismay or not, it is comical heart of a milk dud material for anyone to consider the war to be a partisan endeavor. It's a classic game of good cop-bad cop when it comes to the so-perceived differences between the Republicans' and Democrats' treatment of the war. An identical plan persists regardless of party in power. That y'all buy the Democrats' worthless lip service is beyond ridiculous in that those same bastards pretty much all voted in favor of the war. But yeah, we're only supposed to blame the Republicans for Iraq. Let alone that the Democrats have done just as much war-mongering as Republicans when it comes to Afghanistan, yet another bullshit disaster that someone in full support of it today will be calling a big mistake a few years down the line. Be against unjust war over picking your favorite party to shill for, especially when that turns you from a dove to a hawk overnight...please and dammit.

I know people sometimes get pissed when actual facts are used in these arguments but it's not true that Democrats "pretty much all voted in favor of the war." In the House the Reps voted 215-6 in favor, the Dems voted 82-126 AGAINST. In other words if it had been up to the Dems, no war. In the Senate it was Reps 48-1 in favor, Dems 29-21 in favor. Shame on the Senate Dems, but still a vast difference, and most Dems overall voted against if you look at the combined totals.

Your facts are wrong. You should at least consider the possibility that your conclusions are also wrong. Your move.
