I'm sure SF wouldn't mind that.<b, 21<b, 21I never knew NYC had a ban on open fires until a couple weeks ago when we got sent on a call with a report of a fire in a private dwelling.  When we showed up with 4 trucks and 20 guys ready to tear someone's house apart we found some poor schmuck in his backyard with a little 2'x2' firepit and the smallest little fire, just chilling with a glass of wine.  One of his neighbors ratted him out.  I had to hold back from laughing as it seemed so absurd to me that we had to blast this little fire out with a fire extinguisher while he stood there looking like we just kicked his dog in the balls, meanwhile I live maybe 10 miles away and burn the wooden equivalent of the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria every few nights.
