    There was a dude last night with a good set of Ornette Coleman. The rest was all Corpse paint hate/black metal bands with ridiculous names who I suspect don't actually exist.  Bizarre.

    A friend of mine reckons Ornette invented punk-funk-no-wave-disco-not-disco about five years before anyone else. Not sure I entirely agree with that, but he may have a point.
