the main turn-off for me with the pineapple (and fruits in general) is the sweetness, I am just not a fan of sweet food unless it is desserts. Pineapple is one my absolute favourite fruits, too, but just keep outta my cooked foods!

it's a restaurant, they're providing a service and charging a markup as a result. By paying for that service to have oysters shucked, it is usually at least double the cost of buying oysters and shucking yourself.
