Basically a commercial ripoff of the open source Monome project. I don't think it's a ripoff. The UI is similar, but the big selling point of the Tenori-on is the performance and sound engine, while the Monome is just a controller box.

Haha, I'm self-employed and I never got around to doing my quarterly payments. Just wrote out checks for about $18k and that's after a raft of deductions. I knew it was coming but it was still painful.
