That was either a Nikon 8700 or a Nikon D300. Those are the two digital Cameras I currently own. Macro button and aperture priority at wide open (lowest possible number). I have too many shots of my cat. ---- Nerd.

I was looking at the specs on that LX3, and it's a little odd that the zoom is a 24-60mm equivalent. The24mm wide is nice, but there's no telephoto on that thing at all. Does it have a telephoto adapter? I could see that being frustrating.

Yup. Morley Field. It's a nice course with about 6 different pin positions for each hole. Great course if you're in the area. Don't go on a sunny weekend though. It will take 3 hours to get through it.

San Diego only has one course. There are rumors of the owner not letting new courses open up. It's always packed. Not a good look. It is two blocks from my house. Maybe I'll go give it a go today. It is like 77 degrees out.
