The first thing I typed into the map on my iPhone was "tamales." I promptly went to try all of them. If anyone cares, Tamales Chiampaneco in San Diego was my favorite. They do a mole wrapped in banana leaf.

I always hear good things about Samsung, Sony, and Sharp in that order. I bought a 37" Sharp Aquos about 4 years ago and love it. Used it quite a bit, and still working flawless with great picture. I will cop a 32" LED in the near future for the bed…

Cosine on the Nikon for low light / high ISO shooting. I shoot with both high-end Canon and Nikon, and the Nikon wins in that dept.

USPS is really pushing flat rate priority boxes, so they've upped all the standard rates quite a bit.

What's your price range? The Nikon D300 or D90 is pretty good for semi-pro work on a budget. Pair that up with an 18-200mm and a 50mm f1.8 or f1.4. I can do quite a bit with that.

I would seriously discourage working on a percentage basis for someone who gets paid entirely in cash in another city with no way of tracking the income. That will end up in her paying you whatever she feels like paying you.

I wonder how many gay people are bummed that marriage is now an option for them. Sometimes I wish it wasn't an option for me.

I only record I would pay 4 figures for would be one I could sell for 5 figures.

I was unaware of amazing sound quality until about a year ago. My future father in law used to be into audiophile gear and it's given us a good bonding topic. He's dropped tons of knowledge on me and the Studio Two power amp. Since then, I've enthus…
