R.I.P Style wars influenced me a lot when i was growing up....
-
Pretty solid lp one of the better ones of that era. Must dig it out as i ain't spun it a while...
-
I've never owned that record as i don't like it..... I loved their early stuff with Arabian Prince especially "panic zone" though.

I'll admit it: I kinda hatted on this album (except for "Duck Down") when it first came out. One of my friends in college convinced me to revisit it, and I was on some shit. Nowadays, it very closely competes for Best BDP Album honors. Love it. F…

This thread is getting silly. Artifacts are dope, Tame and El both have a unique, distinct style and flow. The first album was hot and The Ultimate album version and Showbiz rmx was dope. Brick city kids was the joint too. Both Tame and El have made…

The "bronx baybridge" (not sure that's the right title?) is pure ultras worth getting the lp for that track alone. Although it did come out on a 12" too... Like other people have mentioned the cenobites is essential.

It was Chris Stein of Blondie who did a lot of the music and not the clash if i remember correctly.
-
To be honest they don't do a great deal for me. Ive tried my best to get into them but they just do nothing for me.
-
Ive got both lp's and it's been a while since ive had them on but they are both quality. Especially the first one with "give it to you on".

I agree most of those comments were pretty stupid and ignorant. However, as cool as this is I dont really get it. I mean I like graffiti but both Basquiat and Futura are pretty well documented and I dont see why this wall should be considered to be…

Schooly d definitely a fave of mine although i prefer "Saturday night the album" this got many spins round my house.
-
All his early 12's on hydra do it for me. Liked him on the ultra's "raise it up" too.
-

Yo, what up guys... ..its been wrecking my head trying to identify the following 2 tracks of the aeiou mixes: From aeiou one Track 1 (the first sample you hear, not the second which it flows into - I think was already identified as an Ars Nova tra…

Ive only ever subscribed to one magazine and it went under and i didn't get my full subscription. Any way it was "grandslam" Ive often considered subscribing to "wax poetics".

i picked it up a couple of weeks ago i really like it. i would say it is for anyone who bought the martha cooper hip hop files a couple of years back.
-
I even got the box set and the bonus 7"... Is there a bonus 7"? I got the 12" with the Box set. I must have Vol 5 somewhere, I'll dig around and see if I can find it. Also, on an Electro street sounds tip, anyone know what the story is with the…

AEIOU TECHNOLOGY No, seriously what does that mean? A lot of "ridiculous moments" but overall kinda meh? - J id say dont spend more than $10. i got it mint for 4.50 $10 got me a sealed copy.
-
the "long jammy" has some ridiculous moments "take me , break me" is the highlight for me which can be easily grabed on 45.
-
i prefer them licorice roots you get from the health food shops.
-
i went to see a while ago and found him very entertaining. i never found the office that funny but i thought extras was nothing short of genius.
-

-
its OK i will be checking for the lp as a big fan of miss jones. as for miss whinehouse Ive only heard "rehab" and it mustn't have left any impression as Ive made no effort to check out my girlfriends CD as she bought the lp.
